*-> The Columbus Blue Jackets have claimed Edmontons Ethan Moreau off waivers this morning.
*-> Rod BrindAmour has officially announced his retirement today. The Carolina Hurricanes are expected to buy the rest of his contract out. I'm not too sure the logistics behind it but as far as I know he counts towards the cap as he's plus 35. A sad end to a great career.
*-> Tomas Kaberle has told a Czech newspaper he expects a trade for sure this time around. Kaberle is sitting at home waiting for a deal its been reported. Many sources have now said they believe its only 2 teams left in the mix for the puck moving blueliner. Its believed to the Los Angeles Kings and the St. Louis Blues.
