Ice Scoopz: Thursday Morning

*-> Milan Jurcina of the Washington Capitals has told the Washington management he does not wish to resign and would like to test the waters of free agency this summer. The big blueliner was dealt mid season to the Blue Jackets before being dealt back to the Capitals. Several teams have mild interest but Jurcina isn't a hot commodity right now.

*-> The Chicago Blackhawks made a minor deal today by trading center Colin Fraser to the Edmonton Oilers for a 6th round draft pick. Another space making move by the Hawks.

*-> The Atlanta Thrashers have also made a move today, Michael Vernace and Brett Sterling have been traded to the San Jose Sharks. I'm being told the return is a late pick but nothings official yet.

That's it for now more soon.
