*-> The Nashville Predators have traded the rights to Dan Hamhuis to the Philadelphia Flyers for defenseman Ryan Parent. Parent returns back to the Nashville organization while the Flyers get first crack at Hamhuis. If the Flyers are unable to sign Hamhuis they will receive a conditional pick which is believed to be a 3rd or 4th rounder.
-It is believed that the Flyers have spoken to Hamhuis's camp and it is a good possibility he will sign as long as the terms are met.
