Trade! Detroit + Philly
*-> The Detroit Red Wings have traded struggling forward Ville Leino to the Philadelphia Flyers for a 5th round pick in this years draft and Ole-Kristof Tollefsen. The Red Wings quickly turned around and waived Tollefsen and is expected to send him down to Grand Rapids. The Red Wings needed to clear space for the returning Johan Franzen and Leino happened to be the odd man out. The Flyers who are looking for some help for a playoff run took a gamble on the talented but struggling Leino who could be an offensive force in the league if he finds his game. Tollefsen has been a journey man physical defenseman who the Flyers added last season. Tollefsen is expected to clear waivers but any team looking to add a tough 7th D could make a claim. My only guess could be the New Jersey Devils who are looking to add another d-man after loosing Oduya Friday evening.
