I better get the rest of these ones out incase they happen. A few more deadline moves are predicted before 3PM.
*-> The Vancouver Canucks are pushing hard for Dan Hamhuis of the Nashville Preds. Nashville is still reluctant to deal him however. Their convinced they can resign him at a home town discount. The Canucks have made it clear they are interested and willing to part with a high pick and prospect.
*-> The Canucks have also shown interest in Sheldon Souray but it is believed their not on his trade to list. The New Jersey Devils are also considering the often injured blueliner as well.
*-> Talks are still swirling around Ray Whitney. Sources say he is most likely gone before 3PM. LA is still the number one destination. The Canadians may have entered the bidding as well to fill an injury void but still want Frolov more.
*-> Randy Sexton GM of the Florida Panthers has publically stayed every player on his roster could be avaliable for the right price. He's ready to remodel and make serious changes to his club. Yet again I might add. Does this mean Horton is avaliable after all? Olesz is the only name I have heard out there so far and the Maple Leafs and the Thrashers are interested so far.
*-> Finally more than a douzen scouts were seen attending the Detroit San Jose game last night. Its believed that the Detroit Red Wings are trying to clear some cap space for Andreas Liljas return. Brad May and Justin Williams are both avaliable but expect May to be waived. Scouts from Montreal, Boston, Florida, Toronto and several more teams were seen.
