*-> It looks to Me Turco isn't going anywhere today as most teams have denied any interest at the current time including the Flyers who were rumored to be the number one contender for Turco. The Flyers have said they'll ride Leighton till the Olympic break and see what Emerys condition is when the time nears.
*-> On Ray Whitney, I'm hearing Nashville has decided to make a big push for the playoffs. They have the assets to do so but their still in financial turmoil so we'll have to see. I'm hearing its mainly the Kings in it but other teams want to wait till after the break to see where their at so this might take till the deadline. From what I hear there's a deal on the table but its the stall between negotiations between Whitney and Lombardi over years that's confusing things. Reportedly the Canes are asking for a 2rd and Ted Purcell. There's also talk of a 3 way deal that would send Frolov and a pick to Carolina and the Canes would peddle Frolov for a 1st. Lombardi is still saying he's not trading the Russian though.
*-> Slava Kozlov was a healthy scratch the past game so many are believing he is about to be dealt. I've heard the Red Wings mainly because of the former connection but the Kings as allways have come up too. My guess is the Washington Capitals whose looking for that leadership and offense that Kozlov can provide their youngsters. Remember though Kozlov has a no trade clause as well. He might be willing to waive it however as he's looking for one last drive with a contender after wallowing in Atlanta.
