*-> Bob McKenzie has tweeted there is no truth behind the LA Kings trading Frolov to the Montreal Canadians.
*-> The Ottawa Senators have waived Jordan Cheechoo. He is expected to clear but Nashville may take a risk I'm told. Maybe more so if he was placed on reentry waivers.
*-> An update on the scouts at the San Jose and Detroit game. Reportedly Washington, Vancouver and Edmonton were also seen in attendance.
*-> Brad May has been placed on waivers by the Detroit Red Wings. He is expected to be claimed by a team looking for a veteran 4th line guy. The Toronto maple Leafs, LA Kings and the Panthers might be interested.
*-> Finally Jaime Lundmark has been waived also by the Calgary Flames. He is expected to clear and report back to Quad City.

Waiving Cheechoo, its about time. Im hoping Cullen pans out too, but I still say the Sens needed a top 4 Dman more.
Agree with Tom.
Love Cheechoo's effort, but haven't seen anything from him all season to make me think he could become an offensive contributor again. I know injuries have robbed him of what little skating ability he had, but it's a mystery to me what happened to his shot and release.
Cullen's a nice player that could help, the powerplay especially, IF he pans out. I can't help but remember how well he played in Carolina's run to the Cup and how mediocre he was the following season in New York when he went as a free agent. His best years throughout his career have been in Raleigh.
I would love to see Kuba moved out and a top 4 guy, like Hamhuis, brought in.

Yes agree fully that Ottawa needs a top 4 all situations guy. Kuba would be the guy too move if that was to happen but his no trade might confuse things a little. Cullen is a great playoff guy but during the regular season his name is hardly uttered. Somewhat strange. Jalen said it best he seams to only show up in Raleigh. I think this time is different though, he seamed to have a lot more passion and enthiusasim this time around when traded. Besides everyone knows what the Big Apple and their big money does to players.
