Ice Scoopz: Trade Deadline

*-> The Washington Capitals are adding bodies today I'm told.

*-. The Capitals are not shopping Evgeni Kuznetsov despite recent rumors and news of him wanting to stay in the KHL for another season. The Capitals wish to be patient with him and respect his decision that he's not ready for the NHL and another year of seasoning in the "K" would be good for him.

*-> Another name many have floated out there is Brayden Schenn but the Los Angeles would have to get a MAJOR player in return for him. They love his upside and not interested in parting with with him.

*-> The Ottawa Senators have had multiple inquiries about Chris Neil, many teams are still concerned about his status however. I've heard the Canadiens, Ducks, Thrashers and New York Rangers are all somewhat interested.

*-> The Rangers are telling the Stars they want a signed contract before trying to deal away any kind of major future such as Anisimov.

Dear Hockey Gods,

As a devout fan of the Sens, please grant me the following trades today:

1. Chris Neil to the Western conference for a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

2. Sergei Gonchar to Columbus for Nikita Filatov....or anywhere for nothing.

3. Filip Kuba to any team of Care Bears for a used Kleenex.

I agree, The Sens should trade Chris Neil for a 2nd, I'm hearing thats the asking price so it may be in the cards.

I'm pretty sure most teams wont even pick Filip Kuba up right now with a Kleenex.
