*-> The Tampa Bay Lightning GM Steve Yzerman has told the Florida media that he has indeed spoken to Nabokov's agent Don Meehan while the Washington Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau has said his club is not at all interested in bringing in another goalie. Meehan has said 3 teams have been in contact with him so far. So we know the Bolts are one of the 3 and if Washington isn't involved then that still leaves 2 left. It's hard to say at this point who would be interested but one would think the Ottawa Senators could be a potential suitor given their recent struggles and their lack of consistency between the pipes. I've heard San Jose's name being mentioned but why wouldn't they have kept him in the first place? and also they would have to move ether Nittymaki or Neimi first. Chicago another name being mentioned as well but they already have Turco and it looks like they have faith in Corey Crawford at this point. It'll be interesting in the up coming days to see where he lands.
*-> A little bit more on the Hudler rumors that have taken off this morning. Jiri Hudler could be on the move come the trade deadline as the club views him as expendable and could be shopped for another key piece of the puzzle. This afternoon Bob McKenzie has twittered that Hudler could indeed be on the block especially by the deadline. It's not hard to see the Wings wanting to part ways after Hudler went to the KHL and became a spare part of the organization. It's unknown at this point who could be possible suitors but any team looking to add a bit of offense could take a look at acquiring Hudler.
*-> It appears veteran Dean McAmmond is ready to call it quits after struggling to find a team this season and only playing a minor role with the Devils last season.. While it's not official, the conference could be coming in the next few days.
