A few minor transactions to start the morning off as well as an update on Evgeni Nabokov.
*-> The Washington Capitals have sent Andrew Gordon to the Hersey Bears.
*-> Dave Scatchard, Adam Cracknell and Chris Porter have been recalled to the St. Louis Blues from Peoria.
*-> Warren Peters has been assigned to the Houston Aeros from the Minnesota Wild.
*-> The Chicago Blackhawks have called up Ryan Polulny from the Rockford Ice Hogs.
*-> It's been reported by ESPN that Nabokov is indeed leaving Russia due to family reasons. The family reason being his wife is North American and along with his kids would like to return back to North America. It's reportedly nothing to do with the KHL or the franchise, his family was just unhappy and he aims to return home. He looks to sign a deal as quickly as possible and it's rumored he's seeking a 2 year deal but is willing to take a 1 year deal just to get back into the league.
