*-> Jonas Gustafsson of the Toronto Maple Leafs left last nights game with a rapid heartbeat. He was released from the hospital late last night and has flown back to Tdot to see his heart specialist. As we all remember he had heart surgury this summer during camp.
*-> After that unfortunate teamate stick swinging incident Thomas Vokoun will miss a weeks work load while he gets a specialty mask constructed for him so his stitches may heal. No concussion or hearing loss however.
*-> Joe Corvo will miss 8 weeks after his leg was severly cut by Karl Alzners skate blade. The Canes loose an important piece and some of their best tradebait for 2 months.
*-> Also the Carolina Hurricanes will loose Chad Larose for a week with an upperbody injury.
