The IR: Friday

*-> Keith Tkachuk will
miss a game due to an undisclosed lowerbody injury for the St.Louis Blues.

*-> Nick Foligno of the Ottawa Senators is also day to day with a lowerbody injury.

*-> Wayne Simmonds of the Kings is sidelined for atleast 6 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgury.

*-> The Montreal Canadians have lost yet another defenseman. Roman Hamrlik is out indefinitely with a knee injury suffered last night.

*-> Steve Downlie of the Bolts will miss a week due to a concussion suffered this week.

*-> The Boston Bruins will be without Mark Stuart till January as he's suffering with a sternum injury.

Oh no not Steve Downie! What will the league or Bolts do without a no-talent disrespectful pest with attitude problems who has absolutely no respect from any player in the league? It kills me that guys like Downie can get roster spots when Shanahan, LeClair and Fleury can't even crack a lineup. I'd love it if everyone in the hockey world forgot him.

The Bolts seam really high on him this season and has even earned PP time. I too think he's another Avery in the making but I guess that's why the Bolts like him. The Sens have Ruutu, Montreal has Lapierre, and the Oilers had Tikkanen so I guess there's a place in the game for them.
