*-> GM Brian Murray of the Ottawa Senators is reportedly looking to make a deal now that his 2 best players are out for extended time and his team is lacking offensive depth. Ray Whitney is a guy the Sens covet and has been linked in the rumor mills to the Sens as has Alexander Frolov. Another name mentioned has been Kanata native Todd White whose role in Atlanta has been shrunken dramatically now Nick Antropov and Bryan Little are in the fold. He is a 60pt guy given the right situation and Ottawa has littrally no offensive centers other than Spezza. Anothe longshot option could be Michael Nylander if he was place on reentry waivers by the Capitols.
*-> The New York Rangers are trying desperately to land Phoenix Coyote Peter Mueller. Glen Sather has tried multiple attempts to land him but have come up short. The asking price is rumored to be Brandon Dubinsky and a 3rd. Something the Blue Shirts arnt willing to give up...yet.
