Ice Scoopz: Tuesday Morning Quick Hits Before Work
*-> The Minnesota Wild's star forward Marian Gaborik has been cleared to play by team doctors yesterday. Gaborik who isn't in game shape will be practising with the team for the next two weeks to get into shape for the playoffs. The doctors have said his hip is at 100% and it was a sucessfull recovery. This could mean that the Wild may soon start getting some offers for the star and there are more than a handful of teams who would like him for a playoff push. The Montreal Canadians and the Pittsburgh Penguins will both make a push although Wild management has stated they'd rather keep him for the playoffs and attempt to resign him and quite possibly loss him this summer than trade him away at the deadline and have "what ifs".
