*-> A lot more players can be added to the already big list of players on waivers this afternoon. Ottawa has placed Brendan Bell, New York Rangers have placed both tough guy Erik Reitz and Aaron Voros as well. Aaron Voros is expected to be claimed and rumor has it the Sharks or the Red Wings might. Eric Perron is another name that should be claimed as well. Chicago has waived veteran Craig Adams and any team looking for pk help might grab him. Carolina is one name I'm hearing. Minnesota has put Peter Olvecky and New York Isles has also put Jon Sim on waivers. All players if not claimed will clear by noon tomorrow.
*-> Mark Recchi and Gary Roberts of the Tampa Bay Lightning have been skratched tonight as they await new homes. Recchi has a few suitors while Roberts already on waivers will almost certainly be taken.
*-> Mathieu Carle a defense prospect playing for Hamilton whose under contract for Montreal has asked for a trade today adding to the list of players unhappy with the Montreal organization. Expect him to be included in any deal Montreal makes in the next 24hours.
