Ice Scoopz: Carboneau fired!

*-> The Montreal Canadians have parted ways with head coach Guy Carboneau this afternoon. Not really much is know to why but I'd assume it's because of the Canadians rough patch they hit the last few months. Bob Gainey will resume the role of head coach for the remainder of the season along with all three assistant coaches. More Soon.

Who do you pick to take over after the season? Personally I'd think it was friggen hilarious if they hired Quinn. Man, that'd be sweet...

Lever was pulled from Hamilton for a reason. Jarvis doesn't have the presence Gainey would be looking for and Muller is definitely not ready.

The rest of the season is an audition for Lever and he deserves a shot with the results he's gotten in Hamilton. Also, after the free agent exodus this off-season, much of the roster next year will be players he's coached before. It would also follow the recent trend (Bylsma, Clouston, Anderson, Stevens, etc).
