Scopz,
If the Sens make the July 1st bonus payment to Heater, I think this deal for Pronger helps set a steep price.
My guess at this point (and it's just a guess) - Heatley goes to Minny for a package of Burns, Sheppard and their 1st next year. I could see Auld and/or a depth D added to the mix with Pouliot also coming this way. I think Fletcher would then use Harding and his cap room to add a d-man and Saku Koivu.
BTW - I love the Sens pick of Cowen. If not for the injury, I think he would've went top 5. Your thoughts on the pick?
I'm surprised MSP fell as far as he did and I have no idea what the Isles were doing reaching for, let alone trading up to get DeHaan when Kassian, Runblad, Josefson and Kulikov were all on the board.
I would have prefered Ottawa to take MSP but Cowen is still a great pick. a solid defensive D that'll help the franchise and maybe a future partner for Karlsson.
Yah no clue what Wang was doing there. I think he has to make a riduclous draft day move every year to keep up tradition.
apparently there saying its between the Oilers and the Rangers. I think'll they be able to get some value out of the Oilers but with the Rangers ur gunna almost certainly get Zherdev and maybe a 2nd.
